The Nac Mac Feegle
Hailing from the hills, hollows, and thistle choked glens of the Discworld, the Nac Mac Feegle are six inches of raw, red-headed mayhem. Covered in blue woad, armed with oversized swords, and speaking in a rowdy Scots-inspired brogue, these pint-sized warriors are as fearsome as they are hilarious. Known as the Wee Free Men, they are outlaws from the land of the dead, kicked out for being too rowdy and refusing to follow the rules, even the afterlife’s.
Living in clans led by formidable kelda matriarchs, the Feegles believe in fighting, drinking, stealing (only from those who “don’t need it”), and celebrating life with a ferocity that borders on heroic chaos. They fear only three things: lawyers, reading, and their keldas' disapproval. When they’re not brawling with each other for fun or pilfering sheep for sport, they’re fiercely loyal protectors, especially when it comes to their unlikely alliance with young witches like Tiffany Aching.
Quick to laughter, quicker to violence, and inexplicably fast for their size, the Feegles travel in a blur of swinging fists and war cries like “Crivens!” and “Waily, waily!” Despite their uncivilized exterior, they carry a deep code of honor, a love of storytelling, and a touching devotion to family and home.
Wild, weird, and unmistakably Pratchett, the Nac Mac Feegle remind us that bravery isn't about size, it's about heart, attitude, and never backing down from a fight, especially if it comes with a good drink and a bit of mischief.
